'Baller', 'the future': Some Arsenal fans wowed by teenager's brilliant performance in PL2

After eight games in the Premier League 2 without a win, Steve Bould’s Arsenal under-23’s came from behind to beat Derby County 3-2 last night.

The Rams took the lead through Cameron Cresswell just before half-time and it looked like one of those days again. The young Gunners were really poor in that first half, but things changed after the break.

Arsenal started well and equalised through a special goal from Kido Taylor-Hart. The 18-year-old plucked the ball out from the air after a corner, brought it down, turned and brilliantly fired it into the bottom corner.

Bould’s men conceded a really sloppy goal just three minutes after Taylor-Hart’s strike. That has been a common theme this season in the Premier League 2, but thankfully, we found a way to come back.

Folarin Balogun levelled the game in the 70th minute before Derby centre-half Joe Bateman scored an own goal just seven minutes before the 90 to give us what was frankly an undeserved win.

The Gunners are now seven points clear of the relegation places. With our remaining three games coming up against teams below us in the table, we should survive, and some Arsenal fans feel that young Taylor-Hart will be key.

The teenager had a very good game last night. He started in attacking midfield but was everywhere. His goal was truly stunning too, and the his movement and quality on the ball is really impressive for someone of his age.

Arsenal fans are really excited to see more of Taylor-Hart. Here’s how a few supporters reacted on Twitter.
