If there’s one good thing that came out of Arsenal fans’ protest against Stan Kroenke last week, it’s Spotify billionaire Daniel Ek’s reported interest in buying our football club.

The Swede revealed on Twitter on Friday that he would be open to buying Arsenal from the Kroenkes. Multiple outlets have since claimed that Ek’s interest is genuine and that he has teamed up with Gunners legends Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp. (The Telegraph)

Arsenal fans are beyond excited at this point. Gooners would love nothing more than to see the back of Silent Stan, and now that there’s someone genuinely keen to make that happen, things are looking bright for all of us.

Ek claimed in his tweet on Friday that he is a life-long Gooner. He loves Arsenal and that is arguably his biggest selling point to our fans.

An official announcement of his takeover attempt is reportedly on its way. There’s nothing confirmed just yet, but Ek’s latest activity on Twitter has got some Arsenal fans talking.

Thierry Henry, the man Ek is reportedly working with, was inducted into the Premier League Hall Of Fame yesterday, and the Spotify tycoon retweeted the official tweet from Arsenal that confirmed the same.

Needless to say, Arsenal fans feel that is a big hint. The reason behind his latest Twitter activity may well be because Ek is a fan of Henry and the club, but that hasn’t stopped supporters from being excited.

Here’s how a few Gooners reacted to his retweet
