The international break is finally over and thank god there isn’t another one any time soon. Arsenal are gearing up for a big game on Sunday as we travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
Mikel Arteta needs to get his side back on track after the dismal showing against Aston Villa before the break. We were smashed 3-0 and were arguably lucky to have not lost by a bigger margin.
Arsenal’s official Twitter account released a video of the first-team training ahead of the game on Sunday. Gunners supporters were delighted to see one player back among the group for the first time in five months.
Brazilian sensation Gabriel Martinelli injured himself in training back in June. The former Ittuano man had to undergo surgery and has missed the last few months as a result.
Martinelli stunned the world with his performances last season. The teenager scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 15 starts in his debut campaign in England. He instantly became a fan favourite, and Arsenal rewarded him with a well-deserved new contract in July.
The Brazilian was not expected to return to action before the end of this year. However, it looks like he is not too far away now. Martinelli is seen in the video along with the rest of the first-team, and fans can’t contain their excitement.
