The summer transfer window is right around the corner and Arsenal are being linked to a whole host of top-quality players.

A lot will depend on how we will end the season. Considering where we currently are in the league table, it is difficult to be optimistic, but winning the Europa League could change absolutely everything.

Arsenal have to strengthen multiple areas this summer. One hugely important position is right-back, especially if Hector Bellerin is getting ready to leave the club as it’s being reported. (The Mirror)

Tariq Lamptey was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal but the young Englishman suffered a season-ending injury. That might end our pursuit ahead of the summer transfer window, even though he would be an excellent signing.

If latest rumours are to be believed, Arsenal have turned their interest to Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi.

Arsenal are interested in Hakimi

The Telegraph claim that the Gunners are battling London rivals Chelsea for Hakimi’s signature. The former Real Madrid man only joined Inter last summer, but the Nerazzurri’s terrible financial situation could force them to sell him.

Hakimi has six goals and six assists to his name so far this season – not too bad for a wing-back. He is the big-name signing Arsenal fans are crying out for, but his defensive frailties are a massive concern.

The Moroccan is a brilliant fit in a system that uses wing-backs. Mikel Arteta prefers a four-man defence which means that Hakimi will have to massively adapt in order to fit in well.

That, however, doesn’t seem to concern Arsenal supporters. Many of them took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the rumour, and it looks like everybody would love him at the Emirates this summer.
