Arsenal fans have been left stunned by a clip of new signing Takehiro Tomiyasu in training for Japan.
Football London reporter Chris Wheatley posted on Twitter a short video of the 22-year-old defender creatively kicking the ball to a teammate. Tomiyasu joined Arsenal last week on deadline day.
The Japan star was the sixth and final player to join Arsenal in the summer window. With Tomiyasu being announced as a Gunner just before the closure of the market.
The versatile defender can play both at right-back and centre-back. And Tomiyasu is likely to start for Arsenal this weekend against Norwich City after returning from international duty with Japan.
The youngster has impressed over the past two seasons with Bologna in Serie A. Tottenham were also keen on Tomiyasu over the summer. However, the north London side opted to sign Emerson Royal from FC Barcelona.
Indeed, a new right-back was key for Arsenal this summer. And fans will be hoping Tomiyasu delivers when he returns from Japan.
And on social media, fans loved his little bit of skill for the national team. Here’s what some supporters had to say about Tomiyasu on Twitter…
