Gooners EXPECT…. A call to arms!

Gooners EXPECT every player to fight their corner as at the Lane today we know what is going to happen in the first twenty minutes. Robbie Keane is going to pump up his players and they are going to be in our faces. The noise levels will be high and 50/50 tackles will be aggressive, fouls will be conceded and Aaron Lennon will be cutting in from the flanks and trying to get free kicks around the edge of the box. Woodgate will be pushing and holding Adebayor at every cross and seeking to get to the ball first. Most of all the scum will try to put the ball in the net first.
Gooners EXPECT that the scum will provoke and niggle and press the ball to try and get Arsenal to lose possession. We must not be sucked into a cup tie scenario or local derby mindset and fail to do the basics well. We must exploit the scum plan to pack the central areas, and we must work the wide channels. The crosses must be delivered with pace, preferably low and hard with bodies in the box. Denilson and Nasri must shoot on sight from the 18 yard box. Above all we must play OUR game at a high tempo, with many passes completed. Robin van Persie must rip the heart out of the scum and silence the crowd.
Gooners EXPECT that Modric and Pavlyuchenko will attempt to unsettle our back four, but if Alex Song and Denilson especially can nail Modric every time he has the ball, then the supply to the front men will be cut, and Robbie Keane will be running around like a headless chicken. Hopefully Arsene Wenger will play Nasri behind the front two, so Song must get the ball to Nasri early and make the runs off him to maintain possession. Denilson must feed Sagna with accurate balls played into space for the braided baubles to flash by the Tottenham defence. If we stretch the scum back four, then chances will come thick and fast.
Gooners EXPECT every Gunner to realise that today is about pride, and whatever the final league position at the end of the season, you will be forgiven if you destroy the Yid army in their backyard. This is a crucial point in the season, and with Chelsea falling off the pace, we have a chance to reduce the deficit with the top four to three points. The result will be pivotal for both teams. If Tottenham lose they will remain rooted in the relegation zone only two points off bottom place with fixtures against Man U, Chelsea and Aston Villa to come in March. If Arsenal lose or draw, then the prospect of a top four finish will get even harder, and we may have to settle for UEFA cup football. If we win, we extend our unbeaten run and carry the confidence into vital cup fixtures for the FA Cup and Champions League.
Gooners EXPECT to make noise, lots of noise and we will be the twelth player, urging our Gunners to put in effort and passion!
Gooners EXPECT that no quarter will be given to the scum!
Gooners EXPECT that every player will work hard for each other to deliver the prize!
Gooners EXPECT that players will do their duty and whatever is needed, for the badge!
Gooners EXPECT victory but certainly not defeat!
