Arsenal sack Doctor Zafar Iqbal after injury hit season
It seems it doesn’t matter how successful a football club is, there is always someone that can be replaced.
And now, that man is Dr Zafar Iqbal.

The Telegraph reports that Iqbal was relieved of his duties just days after the Champions League final defeat and that in the main, the news has come as a shock to those who also work at the training ground.
Despite a number of injuries this season for the first-team, Iqbal was seen as an integral and experienced member of the backroom team.
However, it appears an inquest by the club has zoned in on improving in this area and Iqbal has paid the price with his job.
Any successor is likely to be appointed from above Mikel Arteta and there will no doubt be a number of names of the list of the Kroenkes.
While not a direct result of anything Iqbal may have done, Arsenal did suffer multiple long-term injuries during the season.
Kai Havertz missed a large chunk, as did Jurrien Timber, while Ben White was also in and out of the squad over the season. Bukayo Saka was also in the wars, while Mikel Merino was the big season-ending injury.
