Arsenal have received a big boost ahead of their game against Fulham.
Mikel Arteta has had some time off thanks to the international break, but 14 Arsenal players were called up by their national teams.
Some players had a great time playing for their countries, while a few others didn’t perform as well as they would’ve liked.
One Arsenal player, sadly, couldn’t play for his national side during this international break, and there were concerns about his availability for the upcoming clash against Fulham.
Thankfully, there is some good news now.
Jurrien Timber is back in Arsenal training
Jurrien Timber has been one of Arsenal’s best players this season.
The Dutchman missed most of the last campaign due to a very serious knee injury, and many people expected him to be eased back into action this term.
However, with issues at left-back combined with Ben White’s injury lay-off, Timber has had to play a lot of football, and the versatile defender has made it look easy.
During the international break, however, Timber had to leave the Netherlands squad due to illness. He took no part in either of their games against Spain in the Nations League.
There has since been some concern over the 23-year-old’s availability for the game against Fulham on Tuesday, but Timber is back.
Arsenal released training photos on Saturday, and Timber appeared to be in good spirits in the gym. He was spotted on the pitch in another picture too.
With a couple of days still to go for the London Derby against Fulham in the Premier League, it’s safe to assume that Timber will be fit and available for that game.

Riccardo Calafiori injury blow
Timber’s potential availability is great news for Arsenal.
The Dutchman is in incredible form, and he will be key for the Gunners against Fulham and in the following games.
In what is bad news, however, Riccardo Calafiori is injured.
The Italian suffered a knee issue while on international duty with Italy, and he is nowhere to be seen in Arsenal’s training-ground photos.
We will know more in Arteta’s press conference on Monday, but the early suggestion is that Calafiori will miss the game against Fulham.
