After all the rumours about having a limited transfer budget and inability to attract the top players, Arsenal have pulled off a few incredible signings over the last month. Unai Emery has five new faces at his disposal with a sixth joining us at the start of next term.
Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Dani Ceballos, Kieran Tierney, David Luiz and club-record signing Nicolas Pepe complete what has arguably been one of our best transfer windows of all time. However, the real test starts now as the Premier League starts this weekend. Emery should be confident that his side now has what it takes to achieve big things this season.

A winger, centre-half, left-back and a box to box midfielder to replace Aaron Ramsey were of massive priority at the end of last season. The Raul Sanllehi led Arsenal transfer team have well and truly delivered and it’s Emery’s turn to do the same.
Nicolas Pepe:
Nicolas Pepe was one of the most sought out players in Europe and Arsenal have pulled off a blinder to sign him. He will play a massive part in joining of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in what could be a fearsome front line.

Dani Ceballos:
Although on loan, Ceballos could be one of the signings of the season. The Spaniard was one of the best players in the recently concluded under-21 World Cup. His ability to create chances as well as score from midfield will most certainly fill the void left by Ramsey.
Kieran Tierney:
Kieran Tierney will provide exceptional balance up and down the left flank. His addition is a major boost for us and he will provide tough competition to Kolasinac and Monreal for a starting spot.
David Luiz:
The Brazilian has been brought in to replace Laurent Koscielny in the heart of the defence. His leadership and experience is sure to benefit the likes of Holding and Chambers this season. Luiz will also play a huge part in playing out from the back, something that Emery has been adamant about since his arrival.

Gabriel Martinelli:
Young Gabriel Martinelli has looked very lively in pre-season. The Brazilian’s versatility of playing in either of the three attacking positions will give Emery a lot of options. However, he is only expected to feature in the domestic cups and the Europa League.
The squad looks as good as it has been over the last few years. If Emery can find the right balance to use all of the new signings, a third-place finish with a Europa League and a domestic cup win is a realistic possibility this season.
