No more big-time Bendtner: I’m so humble at new Arsenal chance

Forgotten Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner has admitted he is humbled to get another opportunity to make an impact under Arsene Wenger.
The once-unwanted striker will make his comeback for the Gunners in tonight’s Capital One Cup clash at West Brom more than two years since he last turned out for the club.
And the Dane, who has been on loan at Juventus and Sunderland during his time away from the Arsenal, took to Twitter to reveal he is delighted to be given a second chance by the north London outfit.
Bendtner never lacked confidence in his own ability and never missed the chance to tell people how good he thought ht was.
He could have once accused of being a “big-time Charlie” but he wrote: “Very pleased to be involved again after very hard work to come back. Many thanks to the staff. Give it everything #humble #newstart.”
Wenger wants Bendtner to repay the faith he has shown in him and said:  “He has responded with a good attitude in training and good, hard work. The real response that he can show is at West Brom.
“He had nearly gone somewhere else and in the end he stayed because it didn’t work out and we needed him here. Now he can convince everybody.
“We are open minded, we believe in his qualities. I believe in his qualities. It’s just down to attitude and fighting spirit. When he has that, Nicklas can be unstoppable.”
