Arsenal went into their biggest game of the season last night and absolutely battered Slavia Prague. The Gunners ran riot in the first half, scoring three goals in the space of six minutes to kill the game off.

Nicolas Pepe opened the scoring before Alexandre Lacazette doubled Arsenal’s lead from the spot. Bukayo Saka scored just three minutes later to put the game beyond the Czech giants and fire us into the next round.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

Lacazette scored again in the second half after some good work from Pepe on the left flank. The two former Ligue 1 stars deserve a ton of praise, but it was Saka and Emile Smith Rowe who caught everyone’s eye.

Saka and Smith Rowe stole the show

The two Hale End graduates have been Arsenal’s best players since Christmas. They arguably saved Mikel Arteta’s job by helping us turn our season around, and they stepped up for their boss again last night.

After playing as a number 10 on Sunday, Saka was deployed in his usual right-wing role. He stretched Slavia’s defence constantly, and the hosts simply could not deal with his pace and dribbling in the final third.

Arsenal fans were blown away by Saka’s performance last night. Gooners, however, weren’t the only ones impressed with his display. – they were joined by Jack Grealish

The Aston Villa and England star sent a message to Saka saying: You’re moving crazy’.

Saka, indeed, was ‘moving crazy’. Slavia Prague had no answer to his brilliance with the ball at his feet, and the youngster once again fired Arsenal to a win when we needed it the most.

Arsenal now face Villarreal in the semi-final. We managed to win the Sokratis Papastathopoulos derby last month, and it’s now time to get one over our former boss in a couple of weeks time.

Emery would love nothing more than to get a win against Arsenal. However, if Saka and co play like they did last night, it will surely be another very ‘Good Ebening’ for us in the Europa League.
