It is safe to say, no Arsenal player or fan was happy with what happened last night. A questionable refereeing decision saw David Luiz get a red card, and that changed the game completely.

What should have been a fairly comfortable victory turned out to be a frustrating defeat. Mikel Arteta was furious after the game, as was David Luiz, who expressed his disappointment with an Instagram story moments after full time.

Another Arsenal player made his frustration known on Instagram. Granit Xhaka posted a picture of himself where he seemed to be disagreeing with the referee over an incident in the game. He titled the image ‘feeling frustrated’, but quickly deleted his post.

Xhaka replaced the above picture with a generic image of himself from the game. He captioned his new Instagram post: ‘Feeling frustrated… we didn’t deserve that’, and most Arsenal fans will agree with him.

If the game remained 11v11, there is little doubt over the result. Arsenal battered Wolves in the first half, and if we had a little luck, we would’ve been 4-0 up before the incident that got Luiz sent off.

Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be and our winning run came to a frustrating end. Luiz and Leno will both miss the next game, unless Arsenal appeal the former’s red card and get it overturned before the weekend’s clash at Villa Park.
