Gunners legend Ian Wright has had his say on the one Arsenal player he does not want in his side in any of the upcoming games.

The legendary Englishman, like every other Arsenal fan, was furious with Dani Ceballos last week. The Real Madrid man, who earns £52,000-a-week at the Emirates (Spotrac), foolishly got himself sent off and that alone could’ve ended our season.

Arsenal, surprisingly, played better without the Spaniard. We managed to come out of the game with an away goal, and that could make a massive difference tonight as we attempt turn the tie around.

Ceballos will be suspended for tonight’s game but Wright doesn’t want him anywhere near the squad in the future as well. He claims that he would rather have Mohamed Elneny in his side over the Real Madrid man.

He said on Wrighty’s House podcast: “For me, Ceballos doesn’t make my team.

“I would rather have Mohamed Elneny in there. I know he scored the other day but he’s got a drive and a determination about him. You cannot dislike his output for what he’s trying to do with the team.”

The Insider’s View:

Ceballos’ form in the Europa League this season has been shocking. It’s almost certain now that Arsenal will not attempt to sign him on a permanent deal this summer, but don’t be surprised if Arteta relies on him in the coming games.

The Real Madrid man’s form this term has made people forget how good he was for us in the second half of last season. He played a massive part in helping us win the FA Cup, and there is still a quality player in him.

However, his confidence looks shattered now and that has resulted in him making a lot of mistakes. If Arsenal go through tonight, Ceballos will be available for the final, but it would be a shock to everyone to see him start that game at the end of this month.
