Sky Sports share why Daniel Ek hasn't yet submitted his bid to buy Arsenal

Sky Sports’ football expert Kaveh Solhekol has revealed today that Daniel Ek is still fully committed to buying Arsenal Football Club.

After a flurry of reports claiming that Ek would launch a mammoth bid to buy his favourite club, the rumours died down a little bit. That was slightly concerning to Arsenal supporters, who are desperate for a change in ownership.

Gooners have had enough of the Kroenkes’ way of running things. We have declined as a club under their leadership, and things will only get worse if they continue to hide behind the scenes.

Nobody knows if Ek will come in and be the owner we’ve all dreamt of having at Arsenal. However, he has offered all supporters some hope – something that Silent Stan and KSE have never really done.

Solhekol has revealed why Ek is yet to submit his offer to the Kroenkes. His response just shows that the Swedish billionaire really wants what’s best for Arsenal.

He said on Sky Sports: “The Spotify owner Daniel Ek is totally committed to trying to buy Arsenal despite what happened at the Emirates Stadium last night. Of course, Arsenal’s failure to beat Villarreal means they’re unlikely to be playing in Europe next season.

“Ek is set to make an opening bid, but he didn’t want to make that offer before last night’s game because he didn’t want to cause a distraction as far as Mikel Arteta and the players are concerned.

“Last night doesn’t change anything. He wants to buy Arsenal and he has the funds in place to do a deal.”

The Insider’s View:

Ek’s decision to hold his offer back just so that Arsenal would not have any distractions in what was our biggest game of the season really shows that he cares about the club.

The Kroenkes probably didn’t even know there was a game last night

Arsenal dropping out of Europe may just ease KSE’s stance. They made it clear last month that they will not be selling the club, but with the income of European football now out of the window, they may just consider Ek’s bid.

The Swede is doing all the right things so far. His words and now his actions have shown that he cares about Arsenal. The fans have given him their backing as a result, and hopefully, this deal goes through and the Kroenkes go out in the very near future.
