Catch all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, with updates on Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Joan Garcia.

The summer transfer window is finally here, with Arsenal ready to implement their plans to strengthen the team.

The Gunners are nearing the time when their retained list will reveal who will be staying and who will be leaving at the end of the month when contracts expire.

Beyond that, Andrea Berta is looking at those who can join and make an immediate impact for the upcoming season.

So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours today.

Arsenal board’s stance on Benjamin Sesko transfer

The Arsenal board are claimed to be unified in their approach for Benjamin Sesko in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to BBC Sport, which claims that there is “universal backing” to land the 21-year-old in the weeks ahead.

However, despite that, it’s believed that the deal for the centre-forward will be more expensive than landing Viktor Gyokeres.

It’s unclear whether that price will drive Arsenal away from Sesko, with the risk factor involved surrounding a deal.

Bryan Mbeumo transfer race

Manchester United believe they have leapfrogged Arsenal in the race to sign Bryan Mbeumo in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to transfer expert Dean Jones, who claims that the Gunners were actually the first to keep a keen eye on the winger.

His data is believed to have jumped out at those at the Emirates Stadium, but they are no longer alone in their interest.

Manchester United are looking to bolster their attacking ranks, and with Mbeumo towards the top of their list, it could be a challenge for the Gunners to get a deal done.

Arsenal exit Joan Garcia transfer race

The backup goalkeeper is a position that Arsenal must address in the summer transfer window, following the end of Neto’s loan spell.

As it stands, the Gunners have no number two option to David Raya, leaving them vulnerable in case of injury or suspension.

One target on the radar has been Joan Garcia; however, transfer reporter Carlos Monfort claims that Arsenal have since pulled out of the race for the Spaniard.

Barcelona look set to sign Garcia, which means Arsenal will have to look elsewhere for their next shot-stopper.
