Every club would love a discount in the upcoming summer transfer window and Arsenal are no different – here are three players from the three relegated clubs the Gunners could try and sign.

Mikel Arteta and Edu will be very busy men in the coming weeks and months. We’re expected to make some big moves this summer, but there’s nothing wrong in looking at talented players whose values have dropped following relegation this season.

Southampton, Leicester City and Leeds United have all gone down, and here’s one player from each club Arsenal should consider signing this summer.

Why Pele Is Overrated.

One player from each relegated club Arsenal should try and sign

Southampton: Romeo Lavia

Apart from Manchester City, Southampton were the only side Arsenal failed to beat in the Premier League this season. In our 3-3 draw against them at the Emirates, Lavia was outstanding.

The former Manchester City star was the Saints’ best player this season. His performances, considering he’s just 19, were unbelievable, and he would be a great addition to Arsenal.

Fabrizio Romano revealed not too long ago that Lavia is on the Gunners’ wish list along with Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo. The Saints man will surely be available for a cheaper fee than the two other midfielders.

Leeds United: Wilfried Gnonto

Journalist Dean Jones claimed on GiveMeSport earlier this month that Arsenal have half an eye on young Wilfried Gnonto, and we’re not surprised.

The 19-year-old Italian is one of those players who catches your eye every time you watch him play. He’s absolutely rapid, a very good dribbler and can score goals.

Tyler Adams was the obvious choice for us to pick from Leeds United, but Gnonto seems much more exciting and would be a great understudy to Gabriel Martinelli.

Leicester City: James Maddison

It was always going to be either James Maddison or Youri Tielemans from Leicester City, and we’ve gone with the Englishman, who has had an incredible campaign despite the Foxes’ woes.

Maddison, still only 26, is guaranteed to leave Leicester this summer when he enters the final year of his contract, and The Mirror claimed this week that Arsenal are interested in his services.

Maddison can play in numerous positions, can score goals, create chances and is deadly in set pieces. He would be an incredible signing for Arsenal if we can get him this summer.
