Jack Wilshere – Bournemouth
Wilshire started on the bench during Bournemouth’s 2-0 home win against Swansea. Bournemouth had just doubled their lead before his introduction and the game seemed won. During his time on the pitch he had over 85% pass accuracy and had one shot on target.
Wojciech Szczesny – Roma
The Polish goalkeeper couldn’t keep another clean sheet but did help Roma beat Sassuolo 3-1 during their game. Sassuolo scored from one of their four shots on target but Szczesny once again had good distribution from the back. He completed almost 75% of his passes and had 43 touches during the game.
Jon Toral – Rangers
The young midfielder got his first assist for Rangers in the 4-0 win over Hamilton at Ibrox. He played a neat 1-2 and slid a nice pass into the area to create the goal. He will be hoping that he can continue to get minutes under the new manager until the end of the season.
Daniel Crowley – Go Ahead Eagles
Crowley played the full 90 minutes as his side suffered their second consecutive 1-3 home defeat running. This time they lost to PEC Zwolle and remain at the bottom of the Eredivisie. Although not able to create much for his side Dan did have 86% pass completion but saw his two shots miss the target.
Krystian Bielik – Birmingham
Krystian helped the midlands side keep their first clean sheet since February in the 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle. Starting and playing the full 90 minutes he was praised for his work in keeping out one of the Championship’s best attacks.
Chuba Akpom – Brighton
Akpom was introduced with 16 minutes remaining in Brighton’s game against Leeds. His side were 1-0 down at the time but he could not add anything more to their attack. The away side eventually lost 2-0 due to a penalty with 5 minutes to go. Akpom has had limited opportunities this season with just seven substitute outings to his name.
Gedion Zelalem – VVV-Venlo
Zelalem came on in the 72nd minute with the scores tied at 2-2 in their away game against FC Dodrecht. The home side then went on to add three more goals in the final seven minutes to win 5-2. Gedion did make some key passes and may have had an assist but his team mates effort was not converted.
Takuma Asano – VfB Stuttgart
Asano was unable to prevent Stuttgart from losing 1-0 to Greuther Furth after being introduced as a second half substitute. He came on to the pitch with 20 minutes left on the clock and had two shots which were both off target.
Matt Macey – Luton Town
Macey played as Luton drew 1-1 with Exeter and made some decent saves during the game.
Joel Campbell (Sporting CP) was not in the match day squad and Calum Chambers (Middlesbrough) is still out with an injury.
