Crocked Jack Wilshere hopes to be fit for Saturday’s showdown with T******** at the home of football after pulling out of the England squad today.
Young Gun Jack will miss the friendly match against Francce tomorrow night at Wembley – Kieran Gibbs will start the game BTW -and faces a race against time for face whatevertheyarecalled.
He has just tweeted: “Gutted to be leaving the squad but for the best. Let’s hope I can recover in time for Saturday! Good luck to the boys tomorrow!”
Jack was taken off by AW at HT at Everton on Sunday and the manager said it because he said he looked tired. Maybe he had a twinge too and has aggravated it today.
To be fair to Denilson he came on and did well as a more holding midfielder against Everton and steadied the ship somewhat. It begs the question can two playmakers such as Cesc and Jack play as effectively in the same team? (Cue chorus of ‘course they can you daft twat!)
We have 16 players on international duty this week. We must pray they all come back fit and well before the arrival of the team that dare not speak its name at the Emirates.
