With the Wigan game coming up tomorrow, a lot of the Arsenal blogs are starting to add their previews of the game. The excellent UNTOLD ARSENAL has taken a different road and has been snooping around the web trying to find out what Wigan fans are thinking about the game. He doesn’t have much luck it seems! There may be over 100 Arsenal Blogs on Just Arsenal Blogs but it seems Just Wigan Blogs would only have one site on it LOL!
The centre-back conundrum seems to be occupying most peoples minds as we enter the last ten days of the transfer window but Wenger doesn’t seem any closer to buying an emergency defender. The usual JUST ARSENAL transfer rumour roundup seems to have Gary Cahill as the most-likely, but also cites a possible move for a little-known Ghanaian defender called Daniel Opare. Knowing Wenger, Opare may be the most likely to be true! The ARSENAL TRANSFERS website seems certain that Phillipe Mexes will be the surprise arrival as he is old, cheap and speaks French!
ARSENAL ARTICLES reckons that Cahill arriving could not possibly be true as it was reported in the Metro (fair comment!), and LE GROVE reckons that Cahill would destroy the chances of a great partnership between Djourou and Koscielny to develop during the rest of the season. (But he does think that Squillaci isn’t good enough!)
There is another VERY interesting post from The GoonBlog saying (according to some inside information) that the Gunners have already agreed personal terms with Eden Hazard for when he arrives next summer. There could be some argument with Lille over the price before it becomes fact though……
NINE JIMMY RIMMERS and ARSENAL ARSENAL have both decided to join the debate about what has happened to Andrei Arshavin this season, and it seems that the consensus are saying that he is just going through a “bad patch” and he will improve one day…..
