Shame of morons who cheered Nasri’s injury

Samir-Nasri_1202636

by CARL ELDRIDGE Cesc Fabregas and his late, late spotkicks, eh…don’t you just love them. He saved our skins against Leeds at home with a pen and then again yesterday in the 2-1 win over Huddersfield in the FA Cup clash at the Emirates.

It was laboured but needn’t have been had we put away pur chances in the first half. Yet cup games are all about getting through and get through we did to be rewarded with what will be a humdinger down at Leyton Orient. Wonder what the away ticket allocation will be for that game. Went there about 15 years or so ago to see the Gunners in a testimonial for some Os bod and I am lookig forward to revisiting in three weeks.

Of course, today is transfer deadline day not that it should concern us as it seems highly unlikely that old scroogeypops AW will splash the cash. I hope his stubborn policy of not overpaying for talent sdoesn’t bite us on the bum later this season. A season that we are still competeing on four trophy fronts, remember. Losing Samir Nasri to a damaged hamstring yesterday highlighted that you can never have enough good players in your squad. Nice of the Huddersfield tramps to cheer his injury wasn’t it? Morons, I am sure there was a some fair and right minded folk from Yorkshire who didn’t cheer but I was sitting above them and a lot of them did. Will he be fit for Barca at home? Here’s hoping.

AW will bring back the big guns no doubt for tomorrow’s Premier League game with Everton at the home of football. Chesney, RVP and Jack should come into the team with Clichy and Djourou too and Sagna, if his head is better that is. Theo may feature as well.

Wembley tickets for the Carling Cup final are on sale today so if you have the right memberships with away credits don’t forget to log on to arsenal.com and snap up yours.

King gooner, dont go insulting northers mate. I love those ppl, in fact Huddersfield are a bit our like in their division with tipy tapy football. They really gave a runaround complete with ball control you cant underrate. They are of course some fools who od something that is below contempt as cheering injury to a player. No generalisation.

they cheered out of relief that he wasn’t going to play anymore part in the game, it was about fear even if they dressed it as sarcasm… It shows how much he scares people. Pray he comes back soon.
