Do you love the Arsenal shirt so much you now and again sneak a little kiss of the badge perhaps when no-one is looking? Ok, maybe not. Leave that to the Gunners stars to signify their love for the club as and when they score. For me no-one did this better than Thierry Henry…legend! But you get the vibe, you love the shirt, right? They want supporters to prove how much they love the shirt after Man City forward Carlos Tevez this week declared his undying love for the Eastlands side, claiming that ‘no-one loves the shirt more than me’. However, Betfair are determined to prove the transfer-seeking Argentine wrong.
Ahead of the mouth-watering Manchester derby the betting exchange is calling on football’s most passionate fans to Tweet a photograph of how much they love their club’s shirt. And the best 20 received by midday on Monday 14 February will receive a completely free £50 bet.
To take part all you have to do is:
1. Take a photo of yourself showing your passion for your club’s shirt
2. Send it as a Twitpic to them on Twitter
3. They’ll then send a direct message via Twitter to their 20 favourite entries on Monday afternoon, along with the details they’ll need to allow you to claim the free £50 bet (if you don’t have an account sign-up at Betfair.com, it’s easy.)
