Forget the bombshell news that Mad Jens is on his way nack to the Arsenal, surely the standout headline of the day is in the Mail which proclaims that one of our strikers is a target for, er, Blackburn for a fee of £15mil.
Now I am not about to disparage an Arsenal player in the public domain (Lord knows there are enough knobs out there to do that) but I would urge the board, AW, or whoever it is that sanctions these deals to graciously accept the kind off from the Ewood Park no-marks for the one, the only Nicklas Bendtner.

This idiot has been using his Twitter account to dig out the ‘swoop’ as have others but I dare not repeat the ‘hilarious’ funnies in case while reading this you have a rib break.

Mind you Talkshite has long had an anti-Arsenal bias and my self-imposed blanket ban on the moronic radiowaves they send out has served me well. I can recommend Q Music.
A bit of hope elsewhere in the sports pages today which suggests that the Swiss FA think crocked Johann Djourou may yet play some part in the rest of the season…unlike a return for TV5, something I long ago gave up on. Ho hum, now on to the day job – up the Gunners!
