Aaron Ramsey is poised to conquer his demons when he comes face to face with Ryan Shawcross at Stoke on Sunday — and travelling Gooners MUST hound the leg-breaking thug during the entire 90 minutes.
It has emerged that Cesc Fabregas is a big doubt for our game at the Snotteries with a thigh injury, which means Ramsey is again a likely starter against Tony “I shower naked with my players” Pulis’s rugger boys.
Ramsey capped his comeback from the horrific injury with a goal against United last week but this is a tougher test psychologically up against the knuckle-dragger who bust his leg 15 months ago. Since then he has started only three games for us and replaced Fabregas last weekend.
Every time Shawcross touches the ball he needs to be booed with maximum decibels to remind him that neither the Arsenal family nor indeed Rambo have forgiven him. Nor will we. The Wales international has yet to speak to Shawcross and snubbed the messages he left on his phone after the incident.
And keep an eye out for the lack of a handshake for Pulis from AW at any stage before or after the game…that’s the attitude, Arsene!
Finally, a rumour that won’t go away is that we are in for John Obi Mikel from the Chavs, but it is only that, a rumour. Have fun and see you in Staffordshire on Sunday. Up the rip-roaring Reds.
