Wilshere Not Included In U21 Squad

Jack Wilshere has not been chosen to represent England in the Under-21 European Championships.
Arsene Wenger had fought hard to stop Wilshere from being called up, after the young midfielder successfully broke into the Arsenal first team this season.
However, Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs and Henri Lansbury have both been called up and will be part of Stuart Pearce’s 23 man squad.
A final squad will be submitted to UEFA on June 1st, and the competition kicks off in Denmark 10 days later.
