Djourou: We Need To Improve

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has revealed that every member in the team needs to improve their performances, if Arsenal are to achieve success next season.
The 24-year old Swiss admitted that everyone, including himself, needs to improve if Arsenal are to win a trophy for the first time since 2005.
“For the team, it was difficult because we were playing for so many trophies at the same time and we were so close to getting one.
“Obviously, now we want to do better as a team and as individuals to get something. I think that the fans deserve and the manager deserves something.
“We need to get better, get stronger, and really prepare well for next season.”
We can only hope that his performance against England is not a sign of things to come. I believe Johan had a great season last year, breaking into the first team, after an injury-plagued career at The Gunners.
Athough he played very poorly against England on Saturday, I feel he will be very important for us next season. However, I’ll admit that I would still like us to sign another centre-back.
The latest word on the street is suggesting that Arsenal will sign Gervinho before Friday this week.
Arsenal have been favourites to sign the Ivory Coast international since day one, following interest from other clubs including Liverpool and Newcastle United.
