Dein and Fiszman were at war at Arsenal, says Lady Nina

Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith has for the first time lifted the lid on her thoughts regarding her departure from the board of Arsenal and revealed there was a “war” between David Dein and Danny Fiszman within the corridors of power at the Emirates.

The former major shareholder in the Gunners, who sold her Arsenal shares amounting to 15.9% of club’s stake to Stan Kroenke, says she doesn’t think the return of Dein to the fold would necessarily be a good thing for the club.

Arsenal director Fiszman died in April aged 66, just three days after the sale of his stake to billionaire Kroenke allowed the American to complete his Arsenal takeover.

In a series of messages on her Twitter account, she reveals that she thinks Dein was the root of all the trouble at the club and that he can’t work alongside board members and suggests he is a troublemaker. Here are her Tweets in response to questions posed by the Arsenal Twitter community.

“No Dein. Root cause of all the troubles at AFC. Unable to work with other board members. RT : much more important is how to construct a new Board. Mine would include Wilson/Miles/Dein/Deighton.”

“No, but everything points of DD who is connected to Usmanov. RT : Would you care to enlighten us as to why you were asked to leave the board? Nothing to do with Usmanov was it?”V

“Nothing to do with his dep. It was war at AFC between Dein and Fiszman. I just happened to caught in the cross fire. : Always seemed to me that Dein wanted best for the club. Dip in form coincided with him leaving the club.”

Greedy lot including nina, and the one who hid his tax money outside England. Greedy, personal agendas and vendetta. They removed DD and thought AW could manage alone to make AFC great with a new stadium. The rest is history…we are still waiting for our next trophy!

Just remember, it was Dein who initially wanted to sell to Stan and when he was rebutted chose to go the way of Usmanov. There was no undying love for the club from DD, just a wish to make money.
