Wenger’s 10million bid for Jagielka snubbed by Everton

Arsenal have had a £10million bid for Phil Jagielka turned down by Everton, it is being reported.

The Mail website says David Moyes is refusing to accept the offer, just as he did when AW bid £12m for Jagielka last summer. AW has been eyeing Jagielka for some time and the site says he sees the England international as the ideal partner for Thomas Vermaelen.

It is claimed that Everton’s finances leave them vulnerable and that Moyes knows he will have to consider selling one of his star players if AW returns with a deal closer to £18m.

Jagielka signed a new four-year contract in March, and is being reportedly earmarked as a potential successor to Phil Neville as Everton captain.

    although 10m would make sense when you consider that vermaelen cost that, AW wouldn’t even look at Jagielka this year as he knows he’s much too expensive in the toffees minds. Whichever newspaper started this fiction must be real short on news. And for any supporters that are dumb enough to believe it, here’s a tip; don’t eat yellow snow!

    Wenger’s lost his mind if he thinks he’s getting Jagielka at that price. Everyone knows he needs to buy. Of course the price is going to stay high. He’s f’ed himself hasn’t he.

    I am 31 years old and 20 stone. I played at Right back for my junior school and center back in the park on saturday afternoons in my teens. I implore Arsene Wenger to sign me instead of Jageilka. Do not waste any money or time in this nonsense pursuite. I will do just as good as job as Jagielka and i would cost nothing as I am currntly out of contract since i have never signed a proffessional contract.
