Champions League Draw in Full, Arsenal v Roma

In Nyon, Switzerland this morning the Champions League draw has created some interesting combinations.

Arsenal have escaped paying the price for finishing second in Group G with a initial home fixture against Roma(IT)

First knockout round matches are to be played 24/25 February and 10/11 March 2009.The worse case scenario of Barcelona was avoided which would have meant the chances of advancing being reduced, as the Catalans are playing well. Bayern Munich and Juventus are also playing well in their respective leagues. The last game between Roma and Arsenal ended with a 3-1 victory to the Gunners.
