According to a report from The Independent, Arsenal have suggested a fresh offer to suggest Crystal Palace’s star attacker Wilfried Zaha.
The report reveals that the Gunners have offered a staggering sum of £55m plus an additional £10m in add-ons which are dependent on clauses. The biggest boost for Palace in the new offer is obtaining a Reiss Nelson on loan for a season as a temporary replacement for the Ivorian.
Nelson is hugely rated among Arsenal fans and the youngster has even proved himself in another top league in Germany last season where he spent a fairly successful season loan spell at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.

The report also reveals that another young sensation in Bukayo Saka interests Palace on a loan deal, something that the Gunners could be willing to agree. Unai Emery’s side are also open to including Carl Jenkinson in the deal which would suit Palace’s need for a new right-back after the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United earlier this transfer window.
However, the biggest problem that the Gunners face is that they are still nowhere near Palace’s humungous valuation of £80m of Zaha and adding Jenkinson on a permanent deal and one of Nelson and Saka on loan is unlikely to reach the Eagles’ desired amount.
Despite the scepticism about the differences in valuation between the two teams, the report reveals that there is a feeling that the deal will still happen due to the fact that Zaha has told Palace that his time at Selhurst Park has come to an end.
