According to a report from Spanish outlet Marca, Arsenal have submitted a loan offer to sign Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos and are now just waiting for approval from Zinedine Zidane and his board.
Unai Emery has been described as the driving force behind Arsenal’s move for the 22-year-old and he would fit the bill perfectly. The Gunners are in need of a new dynamic midfielder to fill the void left by the departure of Aaron Ramsey and Ceballos will provide them with a lot more than what the Welshman did.
The youngster will bring in the driving runs from central midfield like Ramsey but apart from that, he will finally replace Santi Cazorla at the Emirates. Cazorla, now at Villareal, was a revelation in the number 8 position for the Gunners a few years ago and Ceballos can have a similar, if not better, impact next season.

The 22-year-old possesses incredible technical quality on the ball and his close control combined with his ability to skip past the opposition makes him a real menace. Ceballos has a phenomenal eye for a pass and his switch of play from a deeper role to find Arsenal’s deadly attackers will help Emery reach his ambitions next season.
Ceballos will bring in the work rate that Unai Emery demands off his players and that combined with his positional awareness without the ball will make Arsenal’s central midfield more solid than it was last season.
Arsenal fans should be very excited about the prospect of seeing Ceballos in the famous Red and White next season and if Emery can somehow get an option to buy added into his deal, they can be confident of having a very strong midfield for the best part of the next decade.
