Arsenal teenager Max Dowman is the best young player in England.
The 15-year-old has already played in the Premier League for the Gunners and has impressed everyone with his quality and skill.
Dowman was even included in the official Arsenal first-team squad photo for the 2025/26 season, which means he is now part of the senior group.
However, on Saturday, the youngster started for the U21s in their dramatic win over Wolves.
Max Dowman breaks Reiss Nelson’s record at Arsenal
The Arsenal U21s faced Wolves at Meadow Park in the Premier League 2 on Saturday.
Max Dowman was a surprise name in the team, as the youngster was involved with the senior squad in each of their last four games. He even played in two of them.
Arsenal U21s boss Max Porter would’ve been delighted that the teenager was made available to him, but things didn’t go to plan until the final 30 minutes.
Wolves went 2-0 up just after half-time and looked like they would pick up the win. However, Andre Harriman-Annous scored twice, either side of Dowman’s equaliser.
The 15-year-old’s goal has made him the youngest-ever player to score for the Arsenal U21s in the Premier League 2.
You may imagine that the previous holder of that record was Bukayo Saka, but he didn’t score for the U21s until he was 17.
Reiss Nelson was the record holder, but Dowman has now taken over.
Max Dowman could also break a Champions League record
Dowman has already broken a few records at Arsenal, and we are convinced that he will break many more in the coming years.
The youngster is a generational talent, and what he has been doing at his age is simply remarkable.
Dowman has been named in Arsenal’s Champions League squad and was even on the bench during the Gunners’ win over Athletic Club.
He didn’t get any minutes in that game, but if Mikel Arteta gives him an opportunity at any point in the league phase, Dowman will become the youngest player to play in the Champions League in the competition’s history.
We think that will happen in the coming months.
