Report: Arsenal coaches think 18-year-old Hale End striker has real Premier League potential, he's a 'super talent'

Arsenal have produced some amazing players in recent years, with Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe two of the best and most recent.

But there are plenty more really talented players at Hale End, and it’s just a matter of when the next one will make the breakthrough.

One player that Arsenal’s coaches are reportedly tipping for stardom is striker Nikolaj Moller.

The 18-year-old, 6ft 4in marksman is a relative newcomer at Hale End, having only arrived at the club last summer from Sweden’s Malmo.

However, it’s not taken long for Moller to make waves at the club, making an immediate impact for Steve Bould’s side.

He scored three minutes into his debut against Manchester City’s Under-23s and was nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award in November.

The Swede has drawn obvious comparisons with Zlatan Ibrahimovic due to his position, physique and nationality.

And according to, there’s genuine belief among the academy coaches that he can go on to become a top Premier League striker.

Robin Asterhed, Moller’s former coach at Malmo, compared the teenager to Ibrahimovic as well as Arsenal great Nwankwo Kanu.

“If you break out all the qualities that a striker requires, Niko has them,” he told late last year.

“When he gets a really hard, high pass, he can bring it in at quite high speeds. He can dribble, and when he has the opportunity to finish, he can do that as he has the quality to hit the ball really well.

“So if you bring all those skills together, he’s a super talent.”
