Arsenal under-23s took on Chelsea at Meadow Park yesterday and Omari Hutchinson, as he so often is, was the star of the show in our 3-1 win.
The young Gunners are just four points behind league leaders Manchester City in the Premier League 2 table. Kevin Betsy has done a remarkable job since taking over from Steve Bould and last night’s performance was brilliant.
Goals from Zach Awe, Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand and an absolute stunner from Hutchinson helped the youngsters pick up an impressive victory.

Arsenal were put on the back foot as Chelsea took the lead in the 15th minute. The Blues’ lead didn’t last very long as Awe headed home instinctively just four minutes later to level the scores.
Salah-Eddine gave us the lead in the second half with a very impressive right-footed strike. That was going to be enough to get us the three points, but Hutchinson decided to make his mark on the game with an excellent goal in the 93rd minute.
The teenager picked the ball up in our own half, drove into the final third, dribbled past three Chelsea players and smashed in fierce strike into the bottom corner with his brilliant left-foot.

The Insider’s View:
Hutchinson will be the next big thing at Arsenal, we are absolutely convinced.
The 18-year-old has scored seven goals and has provided six assists in all competitions so far this season. He is fantastic on the ball, is an excellent dribbler and he’s rapid too.
His most valuable trait, however, is arguably his versatility. Hutchinson can play on both wings, as a number 10, in central midfield and also as a false-nine.
He will be a huge star in the coming years and we can’t wait to see more of him and his outrageous celebrations on a regular basis.
