Arsenal have reportedly made a second bid to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk worth £60m.
According to the Evening Standard, the Gunners are working hard to sign the Shakhtar Donetsk superstar as quickly as possible, with Mikel Arteta’s side now making an improved bid of £60m for Mudryk.
The 21-year-old winger has been on Arsenal’s radar for quite some time, with the north London side linked with Mudryk in the summer transfer window. However, since then, the attacker’s reputation and price tag has exploded.

Arsenal are seemingly in a rush to secure Mudryk’s signature, with the Gunners making their second bid in 2023 for the Ukrainian international to bring the forward to north London.
With Arteta’s side sat seven points clear at the top of the Premier League heading into tonight’s massive clash against Newcastle United, there’s a real sense that Arsenal can do the impossible and win the title.
However, to do so Arsenal will need reinforcements this month, and the club’s owners appear to be doing just that in their pursuit to sign Mudryk, with the attacker likely to become one of the Gunners’ most expensive transfers ever.
Arteta will want Mudryk in time for Tottenham showdown

Arsenal’s fixture list this January is rough, to put it mildly. After Newcastle, Arteta faces Tottenham in what could be the defining match of the Premier League season for the Gunners, with Manchester United to follow.
With Manchester City coming up next month, as well, signing Mudryk as quickly as possible will be of the upmost importance for Arteta, who should now be doing all he can to bring the attacker to north London before the clash against Tottenham in just under two weeks.
