'Who does this guy think he is?': Some Arsenal fans react to what Willian has just done

Arsenal supporters are still furious about the fact that Mikel Arteta and Edu signed Willian last summer. We really didn’t need the Brazilian, but we went above and beyond to bring him in on a three-year deal, and that has backfired.

Willian had a shocking debut campaign for Arsenal last season. He was woeful for most parts and it took him almost an entire year to score his one and only goal for us in all competitions.

EVERTON ARE UTTER GARBAGE NOW.

Things clearly haven’t worked out between the Brazilian and Arsenal and it is no surprise that we want him gone now. Willian was heavily linked with a move to David Beckham’s Inter Miami, but what he has done now has forced the MLS side to look elsewhere.

Willian to Inter Miami collapses due to his wage demands

The Sun have revealed today that Inter Miami have pulled out of the race to sign Willian because of his outrageous wage demands.

The former Chelsea man reportedly demanded a staggering £8.7 million per year to join them. That is over twice as much as what Miami’s highest-paid player Gonzalo Higuain earns – £80,500-a-week.

That has forced Inter Miami to give up on Willian, and that is a humongous blow for Arsenal.

It is looking very likely now that he will stay at the Emirates at least for another year – unless Edu decides to terminate his deal, just like he did with Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos in January.
