Bukayo Saka is one of Arsenal’s best players.

The England international has had his injury struggles over the last 18 months, but he is still extremely important for Mikel Arteta.

The problem for Arsenal over the years has been that Saka is almost always world-class on the right wing, but there’s a big drop in level on the opposite side.

That could now change as the Gunners are about to sign a player who is very similar to their number seven: Christos Tzolis.

How many goals and assists will Christos Tzolis end his debut season at Arsenal with?

He scored 22 goals and provided 29 assists last season👀

Christos Tzolis is 90 per cent similar to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka

Arsenal are set to announce the signing of Tzolis on Thursday.

The Gunners have been keen to strengthen their left flank all summer, and following the departure of Leandro Trossard, the Greek international became the chosen one to replace him.

An image of Tzolis wearing an Arsenal shirt during his media duties has already emerged on social media, so it should only be a matter of time before his signing is made official.

You will be forgiven if you don’t know much about Tzolis, considering that his last 108 games have come for Club Brugge in Belgium.

However, what you need to know is that the 24-year-old is a huge talent who directly contributed to 51 goals in all competitions last season.

Cannon Stats have done a full scouting report on Tzolis, and the result is very impressive.

The Greek attacker is said to be 90 per cent similar to Bukayo Saka, 89 per cent similar to Mohamed Salah, 88 per cent similar to Michael Olise, 85 per cent similar to Raphinha and 84 per cent similar to Marcus Rashford.

Those are some big names, but Tzolis, albeit in the Belgian Pro League, has done enough to be spoken about in the same breath as those superstars.

Who does Christos Tzolis remind you of? Is he anything like Arsenal star Bukayo Saka?

Christos Tzolis’ underlying stats show why Arsenal want him

When people look at Tzolis’ stats, they’ll just see his 22 goals and 29 assists from last season and think he is incredible.

That is fair, but it doesn’t do complete justice to his abilities.

Of all the players in his league, Tzolis’ shooting ranks in the 99th percentile, his chance creation in the 100th percentile and his passing in the 99th percentile.

Furthermore, the Greece star’s ball carrying is in the 94th percentile, which is very, very impressive and exactly what Arsenal need.

Tzolis’ numbers have risen our excitement levels, and at £34 million, the Gunners could’ve secured the bargain of the summer.
