Noni Madueke’s opener against Mansfield Town for Arsenal today was the Gunners’ 100th of the season in all competitions and puts them on course to at least equal a Premier League scoring record.
Madueke’s goal was followed up by a fine finish from Eberechi Eze to make it 101 for the season in all competitions.
But when it comes to the Premier League, there’s a chance that Arsenal become record-breakers.

Arsenal can match Chelsea’s individual player scoring record
While Madueke and Eze have already scored for the Gunners this season, the 100th goal point marked some interesting talk of records.
With those goals, it then came to light that among those 100 goals, Arsenal have had 19 goalscorers in all competitions.
Of course, not all those goals have come in Premier League competition but the Gunners do have the chance to equal Chelsea’s record of 21 different scorers in the 2022 season.
Be honest: What did you make of Max Dowman’s performance vs Mansfield Town?
As of right now, Arsenal have had 16 separate scorers in the league. Of those, Viktor Gyokeres is the top scorer, while there are a number of players stuck on just a single goal, including captain Martin Odegaard.
Of those players who haven’t scored who might have a realistic chance of netting at least once, Ben White, Max Dowman and Christhian Mosquera are the standout options.
Of course, that wouldn’t be enough to match Chelsea’s Premier League record, but Arsenal can overtake them in terms of overall scorers, which would be quite the achievement.
