Despite the win, the game against Burnley wasn’t exactly perfect for the Gunners but one player completely stole the show. Dani Ceballos won the fans over from almost the very first minute with one of the best debut performances ever.

The Spaniard picked up both the assists as Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goals helped Arsenal get the three points. The two assists already show how good he was but Ceballos did a lot more in the game which deservedly won him the man of the match award.

His movement, energy, flair and quality on the ball was reminiscent of Santi Cazorla’s time here and if that’s a preview of what is more to come from him, Arsenal fans are in for a real treat this season.

In his 83 minutes on the pitch, Ceballos had 97 touches of the ball, attempted five cross and six long balls all while maintaining a hugely impressive passing accuracy of 93%. He also successfully completed 100% of his dribbles, attempted 19 duels and won back possession seven times. (SofaScore)

Ceballos’ real test is yet to come but with massive games against Liverpool and Tottenham coming up next. If the Spaniard can even come close to the numbers he produced against Burnley against the Champions League finalists, Unai Emery will most likely come away with the points in two weeks time.
