Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira is set to become the new Crystal Palace manager in the very near future.

Sky Sports revealed yesterday that the ex-Gunners skipper has agreed terms with the Eagles, and an announcement looks imminent now. Arsenal fans will want Vieira to do well at Palace, and we can potentially benefit from his appointment too.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

Crystal Palace will definitely need new signings this summer to improve. The financial impact of the global pandemic has hurt every club in the world and the Eagles are no different. It would be silly on Arsenal’s part to sell a player to a London rival, but loaning one or two out makes a lot of sense.

Vieira is one of the most intelligent players to ever play for us and learning from him will surely benefit any youngster. Keeping that in mind, Arsenal should consider sending one of these three players to Palace to develop under the legendary Frenchman next season.

Three Arsenal players Patrick Vieira should sign on loan for Crystal Palace

Joe Willock:

The Englishman was absolutely incredible for Newcastle United on loan in the second half of last season. Arsenal fans would love to see him get a chance at the Emirates next term, but it is extremely unlikely.

Arsenal are about to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga, while moves for Manuel Locatelli and an attacking midfielder is also on the cards. That will reduce Willock’s chances considerably, and that’s not ideal at all.

Sending Willock on loan to Palace to learn from one of the greatest midfielders in the history of the Premier League would be a very smart move. Vieira could improve him massively, and that will surely benefit us in the long run.

Reiss Nelson:

Arsenal have offered the rapid winger a new contract and have promised to send him out on loan immediately. (Fabrizio Romano) Nelson barely played last season, but everyone associated with the club knows that he is a spectacular talent.

Arteta has plenty of wingers at his disposal already and with no European football as well at the Emirates next term, Nelson will have almost zero game time.

Sending him to a club like Palace, if he signs a new contract, would be a brilliant move. He could form a deadly partnership with Wilfried Zaha and Ebe Eze in attack, and his value will increase considerably if he has a good season there.

William Saliba:

The young Frenchman just can’t catch a break at Arsenal. He has been a Gunner for two years now, but he’s yet to play a single competitive game. With Ben White potentially coming in, his chances of nailing down a spot has taken another hit, and it looks like he will be sent out on loan again.

Arsenal should only loan him out to a Premier League club and what better manager to play under than the legendary Frenchman.

Vieira has surely seen Saliba play in the Ligue 1 before and he knows how good a talent he is. If he can sign him on loan and help him develop next season, the young Frenchman could become a real star in the Premier League soon.
