Arsenal fans react to Martin Odegaard performance v Everton
Martin Odegaard was brought on as a second half substitute in the clash with Everton as Arteta had one eye on the Real Madrid tie.
However, Odegaard failed to impress during his cameo and missed a great chance to snatch the three points for the Gunners, fans have taken to X to give their view on the captain.
One fan wrote: “Martin Odegaard is average. You will never find a club win silverware with a missing captain with zero leadership skills. No presence in small and big games. When we need the captain to show up, he goes missing. Time to replace him.”
Another Arsenal fan wrote: “I’m sorry but I’ve to call this man out today. Martin Odegaard must be sold in the summer, he can get us good money and it’s all good for all the parties involved. We really need a playmaker who can break lines and can create realistic chances.”
One Gunners supporter highlighted the poor finishing this season from the Norwegian, they wrote: “Martín Odegaard needs to have a separate training session to fix his shooting. He’s been doing rugby conversions all season.”
