Arsenal have just beaten Chelsea for the third time this season.
The Gunners extend their unbeaten record against the Blues to 11 games thanks to William Saliba and Jurrien Timber’s goals.
Mikel Arteta might not be fully pleased with his side’s performance, but the win is all that matters at this stage of the season, and Arsenal got it done.
What the Spaniard would definitely be happy about is seeing his side score twice from corners. By doing so, the North Londoners have gone one step closer to breaking a major record.

Good or bad, let us know!
Arsenal equal all-time Premier League record for most goals scored from corners
Arsenal have been described by many as the kings of set-pieces.
Nicolas Jover has made the Gunners become so strong from corners that opponents are scared to even concede them anymore.
However, Arsenal’s attack gives them such opportunities every game, and they capitalised against Chelsea on Sunday.
Both Saliba and Timber’s goals came from corners, taking Arsenal’s tally for the season from such situations to 16.

That equals the record for most goals scored by a team from corners in a single Premier League season.
Three teams have previously done the above: Oldham Athletic in 1992/93, West Bromwich Albion in 2016/17, and the Gunners themselves in the 2023/24 campaign.
Arsenal are now on the verge of becoming the outright holders of that record. They just need to score one more corner goal, and they have nine games left.
We are convinced that the Gunners will score more than one in their remaining fixtures.

Mikel Arteta delivers verdict on Arsenal scoring two more set-piece goals
Arsenal are often ridiculed for their prowess from set-pieces, but they will not care because it works.
The Gunners would’ve lost against Chelsea if it weren’t for the two corner goals they scored, so Jover deserves even more praise than he gets from Arsenal fans.
Unsurprisingly, Arteta was asked about scoring from set-pieces in his press conference, and the Arsenal boss pointed out how every single team is doing the same.
He said, as per Football London: “Yeah, but every team, to be fair, look where they are in terms of the amount of goals that they score, and they have more quality in their squad probably than anybody else to create.
“The game at the end got decided in this aspect. We hadn’t scored set-pieces for a few weeks now, but we scored so many in open play. Today was an option to score from this kind of situation; we’ve done it so well, and we conceded as well.”
