Arsenal fans are all worried about Cristhian Mosquera’s performance against Brighton as the defender was awarded an early yellow card.

Msoquera came into the Arsenal team at the AMEX Stadium to replace the injured William Saliba, who has suffered an ankle issue.

Arsenal fans have raised concerns over Cristhian Mosquera’s rashness against Brighton and think he still has some learning to do.

Mosquera is still young at just 21, and despite showing so much potential, it’s clear he is still adapting to Premier League football.

The defender committed two fouls during the first-half and won just three of his five duels against Brighton.

Gabriel Magahales had to be on top of his game in the first half, and he was as he completed six clearances.

It’s clear that Saliba has been a big miss for the Gunners following Mosquera’s first-half display, with the Gunners’ supporters taking to social media to question him.

One fan said: “Arteta has to sub Mosquera off on a yellow. As I said before, seeing him at Valencia. A good young defender, but he still has areas to improve. That’s why he was £13m.”

“Mosquera is scaring me. Arteta might need to hook him,” added another supporter.

A third fan claimed: “Mosquera is a red card waiting to happen here. Get him off at half-time.”

There were yet more question marks raised over the defender: “Mosquera is catastrophic. I’ve rarely seen such a catastrophic half-time from a player.”

Finally, another added: “Mosquera is just lost in this game. The earlier Arteta takes him out, the better for Arsenal. I see him getting another yellow card.”
