Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table following their win against Fulham.

Mikel Arteta’s men are now three points clear at the top of the table ahead of title rivals Liverpool’s clash against Manchester United on Sunday.

It wasn’t an easy game for the Gunners by any means. Fulham have been a bit of a bogey team for Arsenal in recent years, and they frustrated the leaders for a long time on Saturday.

However, Leandro Trossard scored in the 58th minute to give Arsenal a deserved win.

10 different players have scored for Arsenal in the 2025/26 Premier League season

Arsenal didn’t have a prolific striker in their squad in recent years, but they still managed to challenge for the Premier League title.

That is due to their ability to share goals across the squad.

The centre-forward issue was solved by signing Viktor Gyokeres in the summer, and he has scored three times in the league so far.

Despite the arrival of a new number nine, Arteta’s men have not forgotten how to share goals – they have been better than anyone else in that department.

Trossard’s goal against Fulham on Saturday made him Arsenal’s 10th different goalscorer in the Premier League this season after just eight games.

The North Londoners are the only club in the division to have that many different scorers so far this season.

That is a remarkable achievement, and it also decreases the pressure on Gyokeres up top.

Arsenal’s goalscorers list will increase – here’s why

Every Arsenal player who featured against Fulham on Saturday is capable of scoring goals.

The Gunners are such a threat in all phases of the game. They can score goals from inside and outside the box, and we don’t need to say more about their threat from set-pieces.

10 different goal scorers after eight games is a fine record, and that number will only go up in the coming weeks – when their injured players return.

Kai Havertz, summer signing Noni Madueke, skipper Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus are all out at the moment, but they are all capable of finding the net.

We expect all of them to get on the score sheet once they come back, thus increasing the number of Arsenal goal scorers in the Premier League.
