Arsenal secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Fulham in the Premier League.
A tough away game right after the international break is often a headache, and the Gunners have suffered in previous years.
However, on Saturday, Mikel Arteta’s men secured a deserved win thanks to a Leandro Trossard goal in the second half.
Bukayo Saka delivered the corner which led to the winner, and it was a good one. But the Englishman was not happy with what he had been doing earlier in the game.

Bukayo Saka admits some of his corners during Fulham vs Arsenal were ‘rubbish’
Saka’s corners are some of the best in the business
The England international has nearly mastered the art of taking set-pieces, and alongside Declan Rice, he has helped make the Gunners the best team in the world in that department.
At Craven Cottage on Saturday, Saka’s first few corners were not at his usual standard. One of them didn’t even clear the first man and was easily dealt with by Fulham.
The Arsenal number seven spoke to Sky Sports after the game, and he was brutally honest about his own shortcomings.
He said: “You know, at the start of the game I took some rubbish corners. I was quite disappointed.
“But I kept going. I think this is the fourth one. I put it in, it was a nice delivery, Gabriel got the touch, Leo got the goal, and I’m very happy with that.”
When asked why he thought his corners were ‘rubbish’, Saka replied: “Did you not see them?”
Arsenal’s corners are the best in the world
Arsenal have been the best set-piece team on the planet for some time now.
The Gunners have scored seven goals in eight games from corners this season, and as much as Gabriel Magalhaes is impossible to stop in such situations, the big credit goes to the players who deliver.
Rice and Saka are the designated corner takers at Arsenal, and the two players get it right almost every single time.
The fact that Saka called a few of his deliveries ‘rubbish’ shows just how high the standards are. That is what makes the Gunners so good in these situations.
Arsenal’s next game is against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Diego Simeone will organise his side very well to deal with the corners, but if anyone can find a way to score against them, it’s Nicolas Jover.
