Arsenal secured a convincing win over Inter Milan in the Champions League.

The Gunners have been flawless in the competition so far. They have won each of their first seven games and are likely to finish the league phase on top of the table.

At the San Siro on Tuesday night, Gabriel Jesus scored a brace and Viktor Gyokeres added a stunning third to give Arsenal a 3-1 win.

The Brazilian became emotional after scoring for one particular reason.

It’s time to vote for Arsenal’s Man of the Match against Inter Milan 🔥

Gabriel Jesus says he felt tears in his eyes after scoring for Arsenal against Inter Milan

Jesus has looked sharp since returning from his injury.

The former Manchester City man spent nearly a year out due to a torn ACL he suffered in a game against Manchester United in January 2025.

It has been a long road back for Jesus, but he has looked really good in recent weeks. His two goals against Inter helped the Gunners win the game.

After the victory, the Arsenal number nine spoke about how he loved watching the Serie A back in the day and always dreamt of playing at the iconic San Siro.

To do that and score almost made him cry.

He told Prime Video Sport UK: “It’s a dream night. I always dreamed to be a footballer. When I was a kid, I watched Serie A a lot – Italian football.

“So, to be here, in this stadium, I have played two times already, and then to score here is like tears in my eyes, because I always dreamed to be here.”

Change our mind – Arsenal are at their best as a team when Gabriel Jesus is starting up front…

The Brazilian should start ahead of Merino, Havertz and Gyokeres! 👀

Gabriel Jesus has given Mikel Arteta a major problem at Arsenal

Many people expected Jesus to start in place of Gyokeres against Inter Milan, but not many would’ve seen him scoring two goals.

The Brazil international was fantastic against the Italian giants in the Champions League. His goals were great, but the way he moved and how aggressive he was made a serious difference.

Arsenal’s next game is against Manchester United in the Premier League, and Mikel Arteta has to decide who starts up front – Jesus or Gyokeres.

Both players scored on Tuesday and will be gunning to start, but there is only one spot up for grabs at the top end of Arsenal’s pitch.

It will be interesting to see what Arteta will decide, but it is definitely a good headache to have.
