The Champions League final is right around the corner, and Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are both looking to make history.
The Gunners have never won Europe’s biggest prize before, while PSG are aiming to win the competition for the second consecutive year.
Both clubs are champions of their respective leagues, which is one of the many reasons why the final in Budapest is such a mouth-watering contest.
Arsene Wenger has now shared his thoughts on the clash on Saturday.
🙏 Which Arsenal player would you most like to see score the winning goal in the UCL final?
Arsene Wenger says Arsenal vs PSG is a 50-50 game, but he’d bet on the Gunners winning
Wenger came closer than any other Arsenal manager to winning the Champions League.
The legendary Frenchman was 14 minutes away from beating Barcelona in the final in Paris in 2006, but two goals in that period gave the crown to the Catalans.
Wenger is desperate for Arsenal to right that wrong in Budapest on Saturday, as is Mikel Arteta and all his players.
Speaking about the game, the former Gunners’ boss claimed that it will be an even clash between the two sides, but if he had to bet on one, he’d go with his old side.

Wenger said, as per The Mirror: “I want this trophy to go to the Emirates because it’s missing there.
“We touched it before – we were thirteen minutes away from winning it – so you want it to happen this time.
“I’ve always said that you work in a club to make sure it’s in a good position to continue to progress. Overall, I believe this is a stage where we can grab it.
“I still believe it’s fifty-fifty in the final, and if I had to bet, I would bet on Arsenal more than on Paris Saint-Germain.”
😬 Which PSG player worries you the most for the Champions League final?
Arsenal need to believe they can beat Paris Saint-Germain
Arsenal played PSG three times last season, winning once and losing the other two.
Even in the two games they lost, the Gunners were arguably the better team, and the xG numbers from both fixtures confirmed that.
The only reason Arsenal lost the semi-finals was Gianluigi Donnarumma’s brilliance in goal, but PSG don’t have him anywhere.
That should give the Gunners added belief that they can get the better of this PSG side, who are definitely more beatable than they were last season.
