It’s Wolves vs Arsenal in the Premier League tonight, and here’s our predicted XI for the game at Molineux.
The fixture tonight is the last one before the World Cup break. A win will guarantee that we’ll remain on top of the Premier League table until Christmas, which would be an extraordinary achievement.
Predicted Arsenal XI vs Wolves
Arteta made 10 changes for the game against Brighton midweek. We expect 10 more today, with the Spaniard going with our strongest possible XI.
Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal and the Englishman would love nothing more than to go into the World Cup with another away clean sheet under his belt.
In front of him, we think Arteta will go with a back four of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian returned from his injury last week against Chelsea, and he was brilliant. Hopefully, he can put in a quality performance tonight as well.
Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey will start in the heart of our midfield. Both players have been absolutely integral to our success so far this season, and if they play well, we should come away with all three points.
In the number 10 role will be our skipper, Martin Odegaard.
The Norwegian has been sensational this campaign. He only has four goals and two assists to his name so far, which seems a bit too low, but everything we do in the final third goes through him, and he’s one of our most important players.
Our front three is the same as it has always been in the Premier League this season – Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
Jesus’ goal drought has been a long one. It hasn’t hurt us yet because we’re winning games, but the sooner he ends it, the better it is for us. Hopefully, tonight’s the night.
