Bendtner Does It Again!

Arsenal closed the gap on second-placed Manchester United thanks to an injury-time winner by Nicklas Bendtner in a 1-0 win over 10-man Wolves at the Emirates.

The Dane came off the bench to head past Marcus Hahnemann, unbeatable to that point, to send the Gunners to within a point of the champions, who had earlier lost 2-1 to Chelsea.
Arsenal dominated throughout but were frustrated by a dogged Wolves performance – in particular the excellent Hahnemann – for 90 minutes despite the visitors playing the final 25 minutes with a man less after Karl Henry received his marching orders.
But Bendtner, who was named as a substitute, swooped in the fifth minute of time added-on to break Wolves’ hearts and very much keep alive the Gunners’ title bid.
More to follow.
