Arsenal extended their winning run in the Premier League to two games as the Gunners beat West Ham.
For the second time in a week, Mikel Arteta watched five different goal scorers score for Arsenal.
After the Gunners’ 5-1 win against Sporting CP, the North Londoners travelled east to take three points from London rivals West Ham.
Just like in Lisbon, Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kai Havertz found the net, joined by captain Martin Odegaard from the spot.

Arsenal player ratings vs West Ham
David Raya – 6
Poor positioning for West Ham’s second from the free kick.
Riccardo Calafiori – 5.5
Lucky that West Ham’s second was offside, was at fault for the Hammers getting into a position to score.
Gabriel Magalhaes – 7
Undeniable from a set piece, outstanding presence in the box and an ever-dominating performance.
Willam Saliba – 6
Having Saliba in defence installs a level of trust although, without Gabriel, the Frenchman looked increasingly nervous.
Jurrien Timber – 6.5
After Timber starred against Sporting CP, West Ham seemed to understand the threat that the Dutchman can bring, fouling him multiple times with a direct approach.
Declan Rice – 7
Rice’s return to the London Stadium wasn’t as thrilling as his last although, Arteta certainly reaped the benefits of Arsenal’s number 41 all the same.
The midfielder was an example of a tidy and no-nonsense display in central midfield, flexing his passing ability.
Jorginho – 6
Not the worst return to the favoured XI for Jorginho however, it was far from the best. At times, the Italian almost invited West Ham’s attackers to step into the Gunners’ half.
Martin Odegaard – 7
Odegaard proved why he’s so important to Arteta once more with a creatively dominant display at West Ham.
The Norwegian scored for the first time this season in the Premier League from the spot, flexing his quality to trouble Lopetegui’s side.
Leandro Trossard – 7.5
After Trossard was criticised by Arsenal fans earlier in the season, the Belgian usurped Gabriel Martinelli in the starting XI.
The former Brighton ace both scored and assisted in the first half to make his presence in East London known.
Bukayo Saka – 9
An exemplary first half from Saka and one we’ve become accustomed to, Arteta’s best on his day.
Kai Havertz – 6.5
Havertz returned to the scoresheet for the first time since October in the Premier League, announcing himself to the London Stadium.
It wasn’t the German’s best game but he did was was required of him by adding another goal to his tally.
Substitutes
Jakub Kiwior – 5.5
Kiwior did what was required of him when replacing Gabriel at half time however, it was glaringly clear just how vast the gap in quality is between the Poland international and the Brazilian.
Oleksandr Zinchenko – 6
Such a technically gifted footballer with a high in-game IQ, just misses the fundamentals crucial to being a regular.
Gabriel Jesus – N/A
Raheem Sterling – N/A
Ethan Nwaneri – N/A
