Bukayo Saka’s fitness has been a massive concern for Arsenal fans for several months now.
After barely missing a game for Mikel Arteta’s side, the Englishman suffered a hamstring injury in December 2024, and he has had several problems since.
Saka played the final months of last season through pain to help Arsenal win the Premier League title, and he was called up to the England squad despite not being fully fit.
That is why Gooners were not happy seeing Saka start against France, but there is some good news now.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka confirms he is fit after England vs France
When Arsenal fans saw both Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice start for England in what many feel is a meaningless game, they were furious.
Both players have been playing through pain for months, and it made no sense to risk them again.
However, Saka and Rice were incredible for England against France. The midfielder scored one and assisted another, while the number seven netted a hat-trick.
Arsenal fans were absolutely delighted with their performances, but what made them even happier was Saka’s fitness update.

While speaking to BBC Sport after the game, the Gunners’ star was asked about his injury issues and how he is physically right now.
Saka replied: “I’m fit.”
That is massive news for Arsenal fans. Mikel Arteta’s side are dreaming of retaining their Premier League title, and they will need their best players available.
William Saliba has a broken back and could be sidelined, while Rice may need some rest as well after putting his body on the line for club and country.
That increases the need for Saka, and hearing him say he’s fit suggests he will be available to play as soon as he returns from his holiday and gets some pre-season training under his belt.
